Welcome to Cityjawn Living! If you’re feeling drained by going through the motions or stuck in survival mode, you’re in the right place. We believe burnout happens when we pour energy into what doesn’t align with who we are. Here, we help you reconnect with your authentic self—so life feels easier and more fulfilling.
I'm Joy Lewis — a true jawn from the city— born and raised in West Philly, where water ice, pretzels, and dirt bikes soundtrack the summer. This city's swag courses through my veins. It taught me how to survive — but surviving isn't the same as living authentically.
I know what it's like to move through life trying to be what you're supposed to be, not who you really are. Energy work wasn't something we talked about growing up. It wasn't even on the radar. But that disconnect — between who you are and who the world told you to be — is exactly what keeps so many of us running on empty.
Human Design gave me language for things I always felt but couldn't explain. It showed me how much of what I thought was just how life is...was really me living out someone else's expectations. Now, I'm passionate about helping others — especially parents and families — break those cycles and find their way back to themselves.
With a Master of Arts in Education and over 20 years of experience, I’ve spent my life studying how people learn, grow, and make sense of their world — both in and outside the classroom. Now, I blend that foundation with a deep understanding of Human Design to offer holistic wellness coaching that helps you release burnout by reconnecting to your authentic energy.
I guide you to align your beliefs, decisions, and actions with who you truly are — so you can feel more peace, ease, freedom, and confidence in your life. From food choices to daily habits, we'll work together to create a lifestyle that supports your energy and well-being. I also offer personalized Human Design readings for individuals, partners, and parent-child dynamics — helping you understand how your energy works and how to navigate life in a way that feels good to you.
This journey isn't about becoming somebody new — it's about remembering who you've always been.
If you're ready to stop running and start being, I'm here to walk that road with you.
Journey on…
